Bridge of Hope
Free Daily Hot Meals
What is the Bridge of Hope?
The Bridge of Hope Mobile Hot Meal Program serves free hot lunches at no cost 365 days a year to the unsheltered and food-insecure in the Daytona Beach area. Every meal includes protein, vegetables, a starch, dessert, and bottled water — for many of our guests, it’s the only quality nutrition they receive all day. In 2025, we served over 336,825 hot meals.
Where and when are meals served?
Hot lunches are served daily from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at our partner locations in the Daytona Beach area.
How do the meals happen?
Every Bridge of Hope meal is prepared by volunteer groups — churches, businesses, civic clubs, and families — working under the guidance of HUM’s chefs in the Hope Place kitchen, which feeds about 400 people a day. It’s one of the most rewarding ways to serve in our community.
More than a meal
A hot lunch is often the doorway to everything else. Guests at Bridge of Hope can connect with HUM case managers for hygiene packs, clothing, bus passes, and help finding shelter and services. In 2025, we distributed more than 10,251 essential items and 1,245 bus passes.
